Bodybuilders competing on stage at a professional show in Izmir

2026 Turkey Pro Results: Marco Ruz, Florian Hartlage, Kamal Aitirhmour and Alice Marchisio Win in Izmir

UPLIFT IRON CLUB

The 2026 Turkey Pro in Izmir crowned four winners only days before Olympia weekend: Marco Ruz in 212 Bodybuilding, Florian Hartlage in Classic Physique, Kamal Aitirhmour in Men’s Physique and Alice Marchisio in Bikini. It was a useful late-season snapshot of athletes trying to turn strong form into wins and qualification momentum.

A pro-show victory should be read in context. It does not automatically make someone an Olympia favorite, but it does prove that a package worked under professional judging on that day. Repeated wins and high placings tell an even more useful story because they show a trend rather than a single result.

Marco Ruz keeps stacking 212 momentum

Ruz won a 15-man 212 field, with scorecard reporting describing a narrow three-point decision. That follows his Europa Pro victory one week earlier, making Turkey part of a strong late-season run rather than an isolated result. In a capped division, athletes have to balance dense muscularity with the practical problem of making weight without arriving flat.

The result also shows why stage condition is more complicated than simply carrying more muscle. Fullness, body fat, water balance, posing, structure and the ability to display the physique all interact. The same athlete can look dramatically different from one show to the next without adding meaningful new tissue in seven days.

Florian Hartlage turns consistency into a Classic Physique win

Florian Hartlage, Classic Physique competitor

Hartlage’s victory stands out because his 2026 record had already included multiple strong finishes, including second at the Austrian Oak and second at the Gomeisa Ultimate Battle Pro. Turkey changes the headline from consistent contender to pro-show winner.

Classic Physique is not simply a smaller version of Men’s Open. Shape, proportion, balance, conditioning, waist control and presentation all matter. An athlete can carry plenty of muscle and still lose a comparison if the silhouette is less balanced or the posing fails to show the physique cleanly. Hartlage’s progression is a good example of why competitors often refine a package over several shows instead of rebuilding everything between contests.

Kamal Aitirhmour wins a deep Men’s Physique lineup

Kamal Aitirhmour, Men’s Physique competitor

Aitirhmour won Men’s Physique in a listed field of 25 competitors. The division has a different visual target from 212 or Classic: broad shoulders, upper-body development, a tight waist, balanced conditioning and polished presentation carry enormous weight.

That is why comparing divisions by muscle size alone misses the point. The rules create different incentives. Men’s Physique posing is different, the board shorts change what is displayed, and a strong V-taper has immediate visual impact. In a large field, the package also needs to read quickly from the judging table. Width, taper, conditioning and stage control become hard to separate when several athletes are close.

Alice Marchisio takes Bikini as Olympia week begins

Alice Marchisio, IFBB Bikini competitor

Marchisio completed the winner list in Bikini. The division rewards an athletic, balanced shape and presentation appropriate to Bikini rather than the harder, more muscular look expected in Figure or bodybuilding. More muscle is therefore not automatically better; athletes have to develop the right proportions while keeping the total package inside the division’s judging standard.

Presentation is also part of the competitive skill. Posing transitions, the model walk and the ability to show the physique naturally matter because judges are assessing the complete stage package. Training builds the raw material, but competition day decides how effectively it is displayed.

With Olympia weekend beginning September 24 in Las Vegas, Izmir was a reminder that the wider pro circuit never really stops. The biggest names will dominate Olympia coverage, but careers are built at shows like this through wins, repeated top placings and steady improvements. Ruz’s back-to-back 212 momentum and Hartlage’s move from repeated high finishes to a victory are especially worth following because they show trajectories rather than snapshots.
